This Tamil film is going to release in 9 languages, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Japanese, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, and English. The film was set to release in September 2012 but was postponed to January 2013, then to April 2013, then on Diwali 2013, then April 2014 and now finally the movie is expected to release on 1 May 2014 hopefully. It has been seen, that when a movie is postponed so many times, it does impact on its success rate. Audiences and viewers get fed up which impacts badly on the movie. Keeping fingers crossed, we hope that, we don’t have to experience any further delay in the release date of Kochadaiiyaan.
