Adult content in Bollywood films is often a controversial topic in the media. When I talk about adult films, I mean films that have adult content, not blue films throughout. Compared to Hollywood, Indian films are quite resistive towards the display of affection or lovemaking. Even some topics such as homosexuality, prostitution, adultery, sexual fantasy, etc. are often handled with complete care and precaution.
However, lately, Bollywood filmmakers have become bold in their filmmaking style and kissing scenes and sometimes lovemaking scenes are kind of common nowadays. There’s no hush-hush about these scenes as earlier and films featuring such scenes are most often released with a U/A certificate instead of A.
