What I felt after watching Singham Returns

I was expecting lots of action and thrill, and I got it all. What I didn't get was a good fast storyline, the plot is weak. As it is a Rohit Shetty film, we cannot expect any great storylines, Action is what rule Rohit Shetty films, and the film has got some great action. Ajay Devgn has done a great job in Singham Returns with the action packed performance.

Singham Returns keep the spirit of Bajiro Singham alive with much roar than Singham (2011). Signing Kareena Kapoor Khan and keeping her away from silver screen was a bit weird for me. She was not given a good screen sharing, which also made the film lack something.

Story of Singham Returns

Bajirao Singham in the film is now the DCP of Mumbai and has big complications and corruptions to fight for. The thrill starts when a police constable is found dead with lots of cash in an ambulance. DCP Bajirao Singham, investigates and find out that a Dishonest Godman and corrupt Politician are behind it. As we know our Singham, no law can hold his hands, he will do anything he wants to fight injustice.

How many rules did Singham break in the film, is something you would love to watch. I wish, Kareena has got more screen space in the film.

Singham Returns Verdict

The songs are although great, but it feels they are unnecessarily forced in-between the action scenes. Kareena has got little screen space, but she has done a good job with those little scenes. You will love to hate Amol Gupte for his corrupt Godman avatar in the film.

What’s Good- The action, Ajay Devgn and Amol Gupte.

What’s Bad- The script of the film was the biggest backdrop. Kareena was not given a good screen space in the film.
